Dan Welch, CEPA
Owner, Principal Consultant
Dan has 32 years experience in business. He graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance. He has spent his entire career working in, or owning and operating family-owned businesses, and has played multiple C-Level roles. He has a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in the C-suite while navigating the delicate balance between business and family relationships.
He co-founded a family-owned software-as-a-service company in 2004 and led and developed numerous teams of people as the company grew from 3 to 93 members. In November 2017, the assets of his company were acquired by a publicly-traded company on the Canadian Stock Exchange.

Since that time Dan has committed his time and energies working with business owners to help them develop plans that provide REAL options to help them maximize the value of their business.

Alan Rich, CPA/ABV, CEPA
Owner, Principal Consultant
Alan has 24 years experience in business as a CPA and business consultant, having worked with two well-known regional firms in Western New York, and most recently as a Partner, Tax and Business Valuation in a specialized firm in Rochester, New York. He is a 1995 graduate of Ithaca College with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting.

Alan has developed a well-known reputation as an expert in Business Valuation and Litigation support services, Ownership Transition Planning and Execution, Company Transaction Representation, Sales Tax Consulting and Audit Representation, and Federal and State Research & Development Tax Credit studies.

Sally Cappotelli
Business Consultant
Sally attended St. Bonaventure University and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Business Management and a Minor in Family Business Management. Growing up and working in multiple family businesses, she spent much of her time learning from those around her.
Today she specializes in the creation and execution of back-office processes and procedures that provide the framework for clients to understand the most important key performance indicators for their business.
Having a background in family business and a deep understanding of the extra work that goes into growing it, maintaining it, and selling it, is what makes Sally well qualified to work with clients' back-office personnel.
